Try and keep this short..on April 9th, I ordered 4,000 crickets half 1/2" and half 3/4", plus supers, waxs, and 20 large discoids for my colony, from Robert. It was to ship Monday April 13th...didn't get it till April 16th, thursday. Wednesday, I had cleaned the bins as I always do with white vinegar and scrubbed, rinsed very well and sun dried for 6 hours. Late Thursday my order arrives. I put each size into its own 30 gallon bin with fresh r/o water (in a fount with foam donut), cricket guy dry chow, organic sliced sweet potato, a slice of organic orange and some organic mustard greens. They had ample egg crates to hide in. I noticeded about 1/4 deadloss immediatly out of the box, I picked those out of the bins and left them to gutload for 24 hours.
Friday evening I go to feed my 8 chams and new beardie. I pick up a egg crate to shake them into my funnel, and there's a huge pile of dead crickets in the 3/4" bin...I pick them m out and put them in the boxes they shipped in. Now, I'm afraid to feed the rest. I email the pics of the deadloss from both sizes to [email protected] and fully explain my cleaning and bin set up, down to the food for gutloading.

About 3 hours later I get an apologetic letter that "things can happen during shipping, blah, blah, blah.." and they'll ship my replacement crickets out monday. Tuesday afternoon, no crickets. Call them 352-606-3959 and tell them I don't have my crickets and need them I'm totall|y out, she says "oh, our 3/4" crickets weren't looking good yesterday so we shipped new ones of them out today" as for the prior order, i never received a shipping invoice/tracking number, so I have no proof if they did or didn't ship the replacements, but nothing showed up Wednesday April 22nd either. As soon as I got home I got a message from the cricket guy, regarding if my order arrived. I called, got the voicemail, told them no I hadn't received them and to call me at my number in the morning. Thursday noon..no call. I call and reached Robert again. He's all "I'm so sorry..." and says he's going to find what happened. Calls back and says they were delivered to the wrong address, and they'll ship my order out right away and how sorry they are...yada, yada, yada. He asks for my text number so I give it to him. At 3 pm he texts me and says to call him. I do...and he's like "we were just rereading your email and we aren't going to send you replacement crickets or refund your money because you fed the crickets oranges and mustard greens (both organic) and they are both toxic to crickets and that's what killed them, so it's your fault" I'm like "I've been feeding crickets orange slices and mustard, and collards for 10 years and never had a major die off within 24 hours before. " i told him that my original email, sent almost a week ago said what i fed them, why wasn't it picked up then? That i had money then to order crickets from a diff company, but since i was told youd gladly replace them, i bought groceries with that money and now have NO CRICKETS to feed my chams and beardie till i get my disability check on May 3rd! " Robert said he'd see what he could do" he hasn't called back, texted or emailed.

I have looked at over 50 cricket care sheets, cham and beardie gut load lists and they ALL list mustard greens and oranges as safe food to gutload crickets! I told him that if his crickets are so "fragile" and can't have standard cricket gut load foods they should include a list of safe foods for their crickets with each order, or put a care sheet up on their website (which hardly works). So, PLEASE COPY AND PASTE THIS POST INTO EVERY WEBPAGE, STATUS, TWEET OR INSECTIVORES GROUPS OR FORUMS! THESE PEOPLE ARE CRUEL TO ANIMALS BY NOT SENDING OUT A REPlACEMENT ORDER IN A TIMELY FASHION, or refunding my money LAST WEEK so I could by food for my animals elsewhere. Also, PLEASE EMAIL THEM AT [email protected] and list websites showing "safe gutload foods" for crickets. I'll be sending every site I find, but the more the merrier! Let's put them out of business! Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!

Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
