Maybe im just being paranoid. But i was feeding my bearded dragon crickets. I usually gutload them with flukers high calcium feed and i think some of them must of been eating some or just nearby it or something. And my beardie maybe ate a small amount of it. Is this harmful to my bearded dragon? Hes never had problems with compaction before or anything like that. But im just wondering. I dont want him to get sick..Plz help!!

this is whats in the fluker's high clacium food

Designed for gut-loading crickets to increase their vitamin/mineral content prior to offering them as prey, Fluker's Cricket Feed allows insect-eating pets to benefit from the nutritional value of the insect itself, and from the insect's nutrient-rich gut contents as well.

Ingredients:
Ground yellow corn, calcium carbonate, soybean meal, wheat middlings, ground soybean hulls, meat meal, fish meal, animal fat preserved with BHA, dicalcium phosphate, salt, dl-methionine, cyanocobalamin (source of vitamin B12), riboflavin, calcium pantothenate, nicotinic acid, choline chloride, folic acid, sodium selenite, pyridoxine hydrochloride, vitamin A acetate, cholecalciferol (source of vitamin D3), dl-alpha-tocopheryl acetate (source of vitamin E), menadione dimethylpyrimidinol bisulfite (source of vitamin K), magnesium oxide, thiamine, cobalt carbonate, ferrous carbonate, copper sulfate, calcium iodate, manganous oxide, zinc sulfate, zinc oxide.

Guaranteed Analysis:
Crude protein (min.) 19.0%, crude fat (min.) 4%, crude fiber (max.) 9%, calcium (ca) (min.) 8%, calcium (ca) (max.) 9%, phosphorus (p) (min.) 0.6%, salt (nacl) (min.) 0.1%, salt (nacl) (max.) 1.1%, ash (max.) 22%, added minerals (max.) 22%.

Feeding Directions:
Feed as the primary source of food to crickets and most other feeder insects. The insects can be maintained on the diet until the time comes to feed them to your pet. To ensure optimal nutrition and calcium intake, feed the insects to your pet on the day after they have consumed the diet. Store in a cool, dry place. No refrigeration needed.

Mine has ate some to before and i have not seen any problems. If ya think about they are eating it anyway, your feeders are just carrying it rather then you dragon eating it out right.

Crickets don't instantly metabolize food when they eat it (hence gut load)... the food sits in their gut and your reptile eats it, indirectly eating the cricket food. He's fine.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
