Ate a hair???

Today while feeding Alex, one of my hairs must have fallen in his eating container. Well, he managed to scoop it up with a cricket. I saw part of it hanging out of his mouth and pulled it out. He had about 8 inches of hair in there... Will he be okay, or could I have hurt him pulling it out? He seams to be fine, but I would hate to have hurt him....

He's probably fine, but next time I would clip the hair as close to his mouth as you can rather than pulling it out. What's even more important, though, is if you ever see one coming out the other end, clip it and leave it alone. I've had Lilly eat my hair before and she has passed it fine, although it does worry me. I have very thick hair that falls halfway down my back :? .
