So I held about half a section of a clementine in front of Rupert and he went at it more voraciously than I expected and took the thing out of my hand and chomped it up faster than I could snatch it from him. He's ~4 months old and has actually had a tiny bit of orange before (he took one small bite and this was over a month ago).
Is it okay that he had this piece? It had pulp on it, but if you know what a clementine is then you know it's about the size of a child's fist so it's not like it was very much...just curious if it's an issue. I know the acidity can be bothersome to their stomachs, but figured that the ratio of citrus acid in that small section of clementine versus his own acid would pretty much almost negate it.
Anyone ever had issues with these?
I don't plan on feeding them regularly at all. If anything it would be a once a month type of thing because I don't even get them that often.
Thanks
