Darwin's tail hasn't shed in the last month, while the rest of his body has shed twice. It's gotten that milky, clouded look for a while now, but is just not shedding. I've tried daily baths, rubbing his tail, the cocoa butter, the toothbrush in the bath, and bought Retpi Shedding Aid and have been spraying him with it for 3 days now. I might be jumping the gun on the shedding aid, but it doesn't look to be making any difference.
I know his tail still has feeling in it, because I (may or may not have...) pinched the end of his tail and he twitched it away from me and GLARED. He was very unhappy about it, but I was glad that his circulation was continuing throughout his tail. Any other tricks I could try? I'm about to lose it and take some sandpaper to his tail (kidding!) to help him. He's been grumpy lately, which I thought was a sign he was getting ready to shed it, but nothing yet .
