at a loss, Mojo refusing crix

I'm not sure what to do here. Mojo has only been eating her greens. I am out of reptis and dubia. My order of feeders has not come and I have not gotten a notice they have even shipped I just know they took my money. I used the last of my money to buy crix but she won't eat them. I need ideas of what to do until I can straighten out my feeder order. I hate this! She's got to be hungry but she runs from the crix like they are attacking her. i swear one tap danced in front of her and she ran to the other end of the viv and began frantically trying to get out. Its like when there are wild mice around some people "EEEK!" would be funny if I had something else to offer her

*Just realized how this sounds, I am not asking for a handout just ideas. My 8 year old wants to pull off the back legs on the crix so they do not move so fast but I am unsure.

You can put them in the freezer for a few minutes, this will slow them down for a bit. Don't over do it though as this can kill them if they are left in the freezer for too long. Other then that, some of my dragon will not touch crickets if they were not dusted. Perhaps she just wants what she wants and they are not it. :wink:

I'd be calling and calling until they finally picked up!

I've pulled a few cricket legs off in my time, when some jumped so high that they jumped out of the tank. I'm not squeamish, lol.

I'll try both suggestions. But I'm not sure that slowing them down will help :lol: she's being so silly about them. As to bugging the bug people (pun intended ha ha) I sent an email today.

Never mind. I left some in with her and had been keeping an eye on her all day and she just started gulping them down giving them stink eye lol. Strange little creatures, these beardies lol.
