Arm waving

So i just got another beardie and my first one forrest just started doing this random arm waving thing. i have seen the tiny babies at the pet store doing it but never my forrest. Its the cutest thing i have ever seen him do lol! but what exactly is the point of it? is he just trying to intimidate the new one?

How cute! My girl Phoenix used to arm wave at the crickets in her tank before she ate them. I think it was atrick to make the crickets feel safe before she devoured them. We recently adopted a 5-yr old male, Dragon. When they get the rare chance to see each other, he stamps his feet and head-bobs, and she arm-waves and lowers her head. He is being dominate and she is submissive to him.

it is not recomended to house two dragons unless you plan on breeding them. it sounds like one of your dragons is already getting bullied. please seperate them if they already arent.

i have an adult pair that i rescued. someone thought it would be nice to pair them up so they didnt get lonely :roll: . fact is, they need to be seperated. its getting to the point where he doesnt let her come out of her hide sometimes.

look around on this site and see what good comes from housing two beardies. 90% will tell you theyve had bad experiences, while a very opinionated few will tell you otherwise.
