Is this bad? I'm a first time owner, so I'm worried. Is this MBD or Calcium Def? And I know that he will get better with veggies and water with age. I'm really worried about his arm and leg shaking. He does it whenever he is climbing, but his walk is normal.

What type of uvb light do you have? How often do you give him calcium? How old is he? What are the temps, basking spot..hot side,,cool side, and what are you measuring the temps with?

I have a reptisun 10.0. I got him just yesterday, and I gave him calcium with mealworms today. Crix yesterday. He's about 7 inches, so I am not sure of age. Maybe about 1-2 months.

Is that hot end and cool end, or basking spot and cool end? Basking spot needs to be hitting 110f for a youngster.

Is the shaking really vigorous or just sort of... how an animal/person looks when it strains? Because it could very well just be normal and just that he needs to build up strength to pull himself up. Proper calcium and UVB will sort that out.

It's shakes like if he's trying to get something off it, then it turns into what seems like he's trying to wave his arm. I'll see if I can get pics.

Finally got a video. Excuse the audio in the back, I was watching netflix. He's not showing any other signs. I'm just worried being a first time owner and all.

Wow, that's odd.
It almost looks like a failed arm wave.
Twitching is a sign of MBD, but i'm just not sure if that counts as twitching or not.
It's maybe best to review your UVB set up and his calcium intake. What's the brand of UVB, how long have you had it, and how close does he get to it? And how much calcium does he get and how often?
Best thing I can think to do is try and first rule out MBD. Muscle spasms and twitches are a classic sign. But i'm just not certain if that is a twitch.

I have the reptisun 10. He gets about 10 to six inches close to the bulb on average. I dust calc 5x a week and multi 2x a week. Both once a day. He also only does it when he's basking now. The bulb has only been on since this tuesday.

Before Tuesday, did he have any UVB?
MBD symptoms typically include twitching, jerky movements, seizures, swollen body parts, bumps on the back and tail, and loss of appetite. Do you notice any other symptoms? If he did not have a UVB before Tuesday, then MBD is very, very likely the cause. Now that he has the bulb, he should recover. If it persists, he'll need to see a vet for supplements such as liquid calcium. Is his appetite ok?
