So back in November, my dragon started to go into brumation, or more like semi-brumation I guess? The really weird thing is, she was only 4 months old at the time. But she was absolutely fine, health-wise. I had her checked for parasites, and they (unsurprisingly) found pinworms and coccidia.. so I treated her for those in around December. At the time, I thought maybe that was the issue, parasites causing her to sleep all day and such, although I doubted it because her symptoms matched those of brumation more than anything else and she just seemed healthy in general (besides being super sleepy!).
But after the treatment, she still slept all day. I mean, she eats just fine. She eats when she needs to, she gets up to eat and if she's eaten enough, she'll go to bask for a while... then go back to sleep. She looks and acts healthy.. She just seems like she's really sleepy all the time! Often when I'm trying to feed her, she'll eat a bit, and then close her eyes, like she fell right back to sleep! Then a minute later she opens her eyes and eats some more. That is really weird (or is it normal..?). Anyways, I read that dragons come out of brumation in March.. and it's almost April now. And she still sleeps all day! :x I'm not sure what to think at this point. Is she just doing a super long semi-brumation thing, or could it be something else?
This is fairly frustrating because right after I got her (I got her on Halloween, actually), she went into brumation, and I never really got a chance to watch her when she's active or interact with her much.
