Hello all
I've heard from a few people that there are some very good reputable breeders from the UK on this site. If any body knows could they please let me know who so I can contact them please?
A few weeks ago my bearded dragon sadly had to be put to sleep as he had severe liver cancer and leukemia at only 1.5 years old! I am looking to buy a new dragon although I am not in a rush. I want to take the time and make sure I find the right one. A lot of pet shops don't really look after their animals very well and so I'm considering a reputable breeder selling healthy animals. I am based in Birmingham so fairly central. I would be willing to travel if I found something I really liked.
I am looking for either a baby or juvenile dragon, preferably male. I am not sure about whether to get a morph again. My previous dragon was a hypo-red and I've heard that morphs tend to be weaker and more prone to genetic disorders! After my last ordeal thats not what I want! I may be interested in just a normal phase dragon, plain grey/sandy with a bit of yellow colour.
If any body can help me with locating a reputable UK breeder, or information on the best breeds of beardies to get I would be most grateful. Somebody mentioned that I should get a purebred, what exactly is meant by a 'purebred' dragon :?:
