Are Soilder flies Okay to eat??

Hi Everyone,

I purchased 150 ex-small calcium worms for my 8 inch baby beardie.Well because Leonard only gets 5 of these worms per feeding(3xday) as he gets 1 wax and 6 of a mixture of butter,horns,silk(per feeding) the worms have now started to change into the soilder flies.I did put them in his viv this morning for breakfast(5 of them) and he went coco for coco puffs for them.He took them out off the walls like a marksmen ..So are the flies just as good for them as the worms??Thanks in advance for all your help..

Why are you restricting his feeding to sooo little a day? Is it because it is medically necessary? He should be allowed to eat as much as he wants for 10-15 mins at feeding time and this should be done 2-3 times a day.

He does eat 3 times a day..He only eats about 10 worms a feeding. .

ok sorry must have misread your post, I don't know about eating the flies.
