ive been reading all sorts of diferent threads on the internet about locusts being bad for baby beardies about the exo skeleton been too tough and can cause impaction.

i recently changed from crickets to locusts as he went off them, my beardie is about 8 1/2 inch long and im using the smallest locusts.

Thanks

I feed locusts as i prefer them and so does my beardie. Ive been feeding him them for about 5 months now on and off and never had a problem.

As long as there no bigger then the space between his/her eyes you will be fine

There'll be no problem, as long as you observe the "distance-between-the-eyes" rule.

My dragons all prefer roaches, though. :D

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
