Are air plants and orchids safe for bearded dragons?

As far as I know, plants in the Bromeliad family are non toxic and I doubt a dragon would eat one. I'd try to find a really tough skinned one to discourage chewwing.

This site, http://www.midcitynursery.com/houseplants/safe.htm says orchids are non toxic but I still wouldn't use one. Too delicate and not many like a enviro that dry.

Yay, thank you so much!

I found out the particular air plant I'd like to use is indeed in the bromeliad family. It doesn't require much moisture (and can, again always be removed for misting/cleaning) and is really tough skinned.

It's also attractive, and looks sort of "deserty" so I think it'll be perfect. I'll give it a try and let y'all know how it goes.

Thanks so much for all the help!

Best to you and your dragons!

Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
