if you do go with the MVBs somewhere down the line, ask Tracy which calcium is available to you without the D3.

Hey there.... just thought I would jump in and give this info now, just for your future reference.....

If you decide to go with a megaray in the future then you can continue to use the calypso. The calypso does not contain D3 but the Nutrabol does so if it is being used twice per week then that is ok with the arcadia bulb However, be careful about over supplementing with the calcium as the Nutrabol also contains calcium - dependent on the age of your beardie, you might need to cut back on the calypso... (I had a bit of an issue a few months back and had to readjust all my supplementing) so if your beardie needs 5x calcium per week and 2x nutrabol, change your supplementing to 3x calypso and 2x nutrabol.... hope this helps

tracie - yep got all the neccessary information, thank you, although i had some trouble with livefood.co.uk and my order has gone through 3 times! whoops! i hope they dont take the money 3 times either, ive e-mailed 3 times now to warn them to cancel 2 of them as my last order was the only one i got a confirmaton e-mail back for.so hopefully it will be opk, oh and ive tried calling them also and it rings endlessly, whats the point in having an office number when noone ever answers! silly people.

missT - thank you so much for that info, thats great, yep so when i get the mega ray i would have to use the calypso 3x a week then and not 5x a week, lol, poor dragons dont need a calcium overload thats for sure.

Even with the arcadia and repti-sun tubes you will only need calypso 3x and nutrabol 2x...... some of the 'effects' of calcium overloads are not fun at all!!!

ive just realised so with the mega ray, calypso 3x and nutrabol 2x but with the reptisun dont i need the calcium with d3?
sorry im trying to get my head round all this, the reason i was giving my boy calypso 5x is he has quite a bad kink in his tail and tracie said to up his calcium, i tried the liquid calcium but then after speaking to tracie i felt he was getting more calcium through the powder rather the liquid so she said to give calypso 5x but that was a while ago and his tail has remained this way for weeks now and nothing more has happened so maybe i will go down to 3x calypso then, so its ok with the reptisun that they only get the d3 2x a week?

Yes, its fine that they only get the d3 2x per week. The only other suggested calcium supplement over here is Miner-All which comes both with d3 or without it and is rather expensive!! But if you already have the calypso and are using the Nutrabol then that is fine.

As Tracie advised you on the 5x calypso per week, I would check that info with her before changing how often you use it - perhaps PM her. But let her know that you are using the Nutrabol 2x per week also.
