Hiya,
So a month or so ago I had some issues with Bruce going off his food and losing weight. He’s eating now but not nearly as much as I would like to see, and he hasn’t really gained any weight. He still has wrinkly skin on his sides, like he’s lost weight rapidly, but he hasn’t actually lost any weight since he was at the second vet.
When I offer them to him he will generally eat one to three large dubious but then is more interested in glass surfing or running around. I take him out of his enclosure he runs around with a black beard and looks for a place to hide. Sometimes he climbs the walls, sometimes he just runs around. Sometimes he climbs up on his table for height. He don’t ALWAYS have a black beard when he’s out but he often does. The vet says that there’s Nothing wrong with him.
I tried some squash baby food on Kale, and for the past few days he’ll eat about three pieces From my hand, and then he backs away from it and doesn’t go near the rest of the food for the rest of the day. I need him to eat more. Is there an appetite stimulant that I can give him that will get him to eat more?
He’s a very particular dragon, he’s very timid and he’s very unsure of everything. I try not to introduce too many new things to him at once so I have to do it a little bit at a time with him.
