Apollo, The Sun God

Just got my new beardie, Apollo. He's a super citrus leatherback which came in yesterday from Fire and Ice Dragons. This was my first time ordering from them and have been super impressed by Terri. Super fast response to my questions I've been emailing and Apollo came home very alert, very active, and little signs of stress.

I started removing some of the white paper covering the viv today during his morning feeding. At first he was curious and was looking all around and then he tried puffing out a beard lol. I tried to capture a pic of the beard but then this happened...



LOL, it made him forget all about puffing his little beard out.

So I think it's time I migrate Apollo to the 40g breeder. He's currently in a 20g long and when he's on the hammock he can reach the top of the tank now. When he stands up against the glass his head reaches more than 1/2 way up the tank.



He keeps shedding like crazy too




I put some blue tape around all the tiles because the smaller roaches were squeezing in those gaps and Apollo couldn't get to them. I don't know if I still need it now that he's moved on to bigger roaches but I'm going to keep it there just in case

He really is! When I got him 2 months ago he barely fit on my four fingers, now he barely fits in my entire hand. He's such an awesome little guy :mrgreen:
