I don't know if this would classify as a "rescue" so if it is in the wrong forum, please move it and I apologize...

Does anyone live in Austin that would be interested in this dragon? Or does anyone live elsewhere that would be interested in it? It's got to be impacted, it's 3-4 months old and the owner feeds it superworms and has it on sand. I feel terrible for it but I cannot take it... If someone wants it I'd be willing to pay the rehoming fee and then letting you purchase it from me for the same amount.....

She wants to sell it for all for $200.00. I asked her how much it would be just for the dragon and she is unwilling to sell the dragon alone because "she would have no use for the supplies." What I don't understand is why she wants $200.00 for a 10 gallon tank, some sand and accessories, and a dragon. That's ridiculous... I'm so angry right now....

I would have been more than happy to take her in if I had $200.00 and provide her to a better family to take care of her. But I just do not have that much money right now.

I will be talking with her more tomorrow, it's past 12:30 here so I won't bug her too much. (don't need her to hate me yet......) I'll try to get the price down, but I still can't afford another beardie. I'd be keeping it simply just to clear it's stomach out and to make sure it's healthy.

Oh gosh. I hope she brought her price down or someone got seriously ripped off by paying that much for a ten gallon with bad substrate. Cripes. I hope that poor little beardie is going to someone more knowledgeable though. Are you in Austin? We're in Fort Hood.

200 for her and the setup??? Really?? I got my 55 gallon aquarium, climbing wood, hide log, my 1 yr old beardie,a dn lights for much less then that even!! Wow... People really shock me sometimes...... Makes me so sad..
