Here is my dilema:

My father wants to go on a THREE WEEK LONG vacation over seas and does not care that I have no one to leave my beardie with. My mother is terrified of his food and moderately grossed out by him. My friends are a bunch of girly girls who cant stand the sight of him and I cannot leave him with his breeder. (I technically RESCUED him from the breeder)

So I am trying to see if i could possibly bring him along.
Anyone ever fly with their beardies? If so, were they in the cabin with you? How did they take to flying? I am most concerned with landing, what with the pressures on our ears that can be quite painful (i can only imagine what it would feel like for beardies)

The most important issue to consider when taking a pet out of the country is will they allow you to bring him home without going through a quarantine to come back into the US? Transporting animals within the country is not the same as taking them in and out. As for the airplane issue, allot of breeders ship their beardies to you, so I would guess if babies can handle it that it is safe. I would get a small pet carrier, some source of portable heat ( like those disposable heat bandages) and a note from a doctor saying that you have a fear of flying and your dragon is a service animal that keeps you calm. Being that it can not make any noise to annoy people on the airplane I don't see how they could complain. The doctor's note also allows you to take them on the airplane free of charge  The only thing you would need to check on is the food issue. Now that they are getting weird about toothpaste who knows how they would feel about bugs.
If you can't take him with you check and see if there are any bd.org members near you that could babysit.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
