For the first 7-8 months i had my beardie i was underfeeding him because I was misinformed by pet stores/fellow reptile owners. I had done online research prior to buying him but all the websites said different things so I thought i'd take the petstoers advice (BAD IDEA) After doing thorough research on to why he wasnt growing i realized i wasnt feeding him enough and for the past 5 months have been feeding him very good, currently he eats around 40 insects daily plus his salad. When he was being underfed he ate crix, then i started feeding him around 40 phoenix sorms daily, now im feeding him around 35 crickets plus butterworms daily (but am prob gonna order some more phoenix worms online soon). So right now hes healthy looking and is starting to show more color but hes still small, he was a bit over a foot long last time i measured him a few weeks ago. He has definetly gotten thicker around the tail and stuff but I wonder will he ever get to a normal length/weight?? He is about a year old I think. I also just went to a reptile expo and finally found him a reptisun 10.0 uvb (before he just had a 5.0 and before that a reptiglow 10.0) Thanks
