Sorry I didn't think to take a picture. She was hanging out with me and she did it on the carpet so I kinda got focused on clean up rather than a picture and I kicked myself for it afterward. It's was all very brightly colored. And like I said it was in the tissue (or whatever it was) it may very well have been something she had eaten that didn't fully process. It didn't look so much like she was bleeding internally as it was maybe her butt was or it was something she had eaten.

Update: she ate!!!
We tried over and over again with dubia and supers and she still just isn't having it. So while trying to force feed her tonight using the syringe she was resisting like crazy.(I think she's been fed by syringe before me and that's why she so unwillin) so after struggling to get her mouth to stay open because she really fights that syringe my husband tried to use the spoon we mixed her food with to hold it open, and instead she just started biting the spoon like mad licking off the food. And from that point on we just fed her like a baby on the end of the spoon. She only occasionally bit the spoon but I think I'd like to pick up a plastic baby spoon for her. That way she can't hurt herself while eating. So I was starting cleaning the tank/ box she came in and there's some dried up poop in there with red in it as well. I can get a picture of that if it'd help? The idea of blood in her poop makes me want to take her to the local rescue that way she can get full medical attention.

That's great to hear she ate on her own! A coated baby spoon is a good idea so she doesn't hurt her teeth on a metal spoon. The blood in the poop may just be from straining which can happen with dehydration. Something to keep a look out for but I wouldn't panic in a one or two off situation.

Yes, glad to hear that she's showing such interest in her grub. :) Definitely a good sign. And yes, please do post a pic of her poo, it's really important when something is off, esp. with a dragon that is pretty ill. We may not be able to diagnose anything from the pic but it can help determine if it's a large amount or small and insignificant or even colored from food.

Hello,

That is wonderful that she did eat! :D It sounds like she has really been trying & is in good spirits, too.
I am sure she is enjoying her UVB light & any sunshine she gets, too. Maybe you will decide to keep her?
Keep up the great work & let us know how she is doing.

We have a lot of pets. And recently he's started to like the idea of breeding bearded dragons. He just didn't intend to get an additional pet at all and then I convinced him on breeding and then we ended up with one who needs help. (My fault but I just can't refuse a sick animal into my home). He likes her but he can't imagine caring for her her whole life because it's very hard on his spirits. Yesterday he walked up to her tank and said "I don't know how people keep bearded dragons like this" I asked if it was cuz she's a lot of work and he said "no I mean every time I come to pet her she looks dead. Then she opens her eyes and moves her head or maybe tries to wiggle toward me.... it just makes me sad." He then explained he likes a bearded dragon full of life, but that he has issues dealing with how she is and yet she can't be. On top of all that we'll be moving constantly. And sometimes far. It'd be better to have someone settled than us who we know will be moving in about six months. Plus I'm currently looking into joining the military myself and I cant imagine asking my family to care for her while I'm gone.
Now emotional stuff behind because I'm sure no one wants to read it

She ate some more just before bedtime. My only thought is whether a baby spoon would work or not? I'm not sure. But I don't want her breaking teeth nawing on a metal spoon. I don't want her to be less healthy than she already is. Her body seems to be doing better since she ate some. She was looking much worse after the first day of food refusal. And lastly. Pictures!

I think the baby spoon would work. Worth giving a try. It is definitely hard to care for them when they're so sick. It's good knowing that they're finally getting care and love though. Some of them can bounce back from some pretty severe conditions and when they do it's very rewarding to see them enjoy their lives.

Can you tell me the state in which you are living, derangedplanet? If you were close enough I would consider adopting her if that's what you choose to do.

Hello,

How is she doing today, did you try the plastic spoon yet? I hope that works out! At least you did get some food into her.
She looks a little stronger, is she holding her head up more now?
Keep us posted on her.

She ate worms yesterday! She probably would've eaten more but I stopped at 10 for fear of more difficult bathroomings. She responds much better to the spoon fed option and eats willingly that way as well. She seems quite more willing to lift her head and catch worms though and the baby spoon worked very well. I live in south carolina. But there are several local reptile rescues here as well. I know the owners they take very good care of their animals and care very much for them. Most of them rehome for minimal money if they even decide to rehome. I doubt any rescue would choose to rehome warrior but so far if she stays with me is much resting on how her next bathroom goes. Im worried about internal bleeding or something based on the red and pink in her poop and I really would prefer her have medical attention if that's the case. She's gonna go with us to the park today where I'll be sitting with her letting her soak up the sun. :)) I'm excited.

I live in North charleston so it's plenty reasonable, I was thinking them or breeders feeders and eaters for charity. I know them and they do a great job with their animals and their rescues.

The park: she got over an hour of sunbathing in. She hung her mouth open for a bit so I put her in an area with a shaded spot on one side just in case she was too hot. She ate 2 worms while at the park (figured the fresh air uv might spark some interest in eating) she really seemed to enjoy herself. I've never seen her pick herself up as much as she did today. So I'm happy about that.

It's great what you are doing for her, but if there is a rescue centre that is able to provide any sort of veterinary care, i really think that would be in her best interests.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
