Hi...I found this decoration for the enclosure that I'm building and thought it would be a cool addition as a decoration. It was originally an air bubble thing for a fish tank but I removed the air stone and tubing. My question is its hollow and a little tippy the way it is now and I was wondering if there is something I could fill it with that would weight it down and be safe for use with a dragon. I didn't know if they made concrete in small batches or something that I could pour into it that would dry once inside and be heavy enough to keep it down a little better. I also thought of gluing the feet to a slate tile and securing it that way but that would make it a little immobile as it would have a large tile attached. Here is a pic of what i'm talking about.

Check your local hardware store for something. Otherwise you could take your beardie out, hot glue it to the tile (i assume thats what your using) let it sit for 30 minutes than put your beardie back in. Just a suggestion.

Hey, I think there's non toxic grout you could get. Some people use it to cover carved styrofoam, then coat it in non toxic paint for viv pieces. I personally wouldn't attach it to the tile, it would be very hard to clean that way.

Yeah thats another reason I didn't want to attach it to the tile...trying to keep cleanup a little easier. Maybe I'll look for the non-toxic grout and see if that weighs it down enough. Otherwise I thought of just gluing the feet of the dragon (the decoration in the pic not the beardie! haha!) to smaller tiles so I would be able to take it out and clean it easier and still have it weighted down a little.

Probably any tile grout would work. Good luck.

Oh, I like that dragon too, it's sweet. :D

Best,

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
