Any Canadians have any darn lighting fixture to recommend?

So I've had my bearded dragon for a little over a year now and I've just been using normal UVB bulbs in domes until a couple weeks ago when the bulb broke and I decided to buy a ReptiSun 10 24 inch T8 bulb. Problem is, I cannot for the life of me find a fixture to set the bulb in. At all. I've checked everywhere in town, no one has one. I've checked everywhere online, no one has one. (That ships to Canada, the Lights of America one seems perfect, but they don't ship to Canada at all on Amazon).

Can any Canadians please point me in the direction of where you buy your light fixtures?

Im using the same bulb here in Alberta. I went to Home Depot and got a 24 inch`lithonia lighting` fixture, and the Reptisun 10.0 T8 fits just fine. I will try to put some kind of cage around the bulbs though, as it does not have a cover.

Home Depot is probably your best bet for T8:

Ah, I assumed it did have a cord, just didn't show it. I would just make a trip to whatever local hardware stores you have and look for under cabinet lighting. You should find something.

This is the one I have http://www.exo-terra.com/en/products/light_unit.php I have the 2 x 40w one. I love it. I have my two enclosure side by side with the switch in between them. I honestly am not sure where you could buy it now though as I got mine from Pets Unlimited at a ridiculous discount when they went out of business.

I did find it on Amazon Canada https://www.amazon.ca/Exo-Terra-Light-Unit-T10/dp/B001B5DHXU but it shows it as $75.35 (I got it for like $25 I think or so). Google shows no other option though. If you do order one like this just be mindful that is HAS to have both bulbs to work.

There is also one like this that has a light cycle you can choose (basically the exact same as the one above but with a timer for the bulbs), but a programmable power bar would do that job just as well and probably cheaper.

Not sure what your price range is, but I love this one as I can let them hang in the enclosures for my two to get the max they can from the bulbs.

Yeah, sadly, we just could not find a good light fixture in Canada at all. We ended up settling on the Reptisun Hood instead! Definitely more expensive than I would have liked, but ah well, it's practically our only option right now. Even tried Ebay.

Who would have thought it'd be this hard to find a simple light fixture. :/
