Another question!

Hey I've read in numerous places the Bananas are something good to feed a beardie on RARE occasions. And well, several places mentioned with the skin and several mentioned to not use the skin of the banana. So...with or without? Is there a special way to feed it to beardies? Also...I really don't mix up Gunny's diet very much...His daily meals consist of:

Cut up Mustard Greens, cut up Collard Greens, a very small amount of Red-Leaf Lettuce(he really likes it) and occasionally I provide meal worms and crickets(20%~ of his diet) as he seems to prefer veggies a lot more. So I hear Escarole is something good to feed them so I'm looking in to that but I wanted to add more variety...So can you tell me what you would feed your dragons? I just want Gunny to be healthy and stay healthy. Thank you!

Luckily for me my backyard has a lot of good stuff to feed my beardies. Daily I give them grape leaves, mulberry leaves, (sometimes rose petals) something-sprouts(forgot the first part of it) along with crickets or superworms.

You shouldn't give your beardie mealworms, they are mainly hard shell, not very nutritious, and can cause impaction.

Well I don't feed them to him very much at all, it's like an appetizer. He never ate any other type of "worm" I tried feeding him.
Getting crickets soon...any thoughts about banana question?

I don't know anything for sure, but the banana peel seems like it would be really hard to digest, and you know how beardie digestive systems are. :roll: I think, to be safe, I'd go without the peel.
