Hi everyone,

The last couple of sheds for my beardie have been very strange - lots of crustiness, and yellowy shed. Was also hard for him to get it off on his own, and we had to help with some rubbing. I didn't worry too much as he was still eating and acting normally, but now he is off his food for a week. He also has had some diahorrea.

He is 1 year old, very small, but he was sick when he was little and didn't eat well for a long time, and the vet said that he could have stunted growth from that.

His viv set up is fine - proper temps and UV.

i have attached some photos and would love some feedback. Will try and get him to the vet ASAP, but tbh i can't find a vet that knows a lot about beardies in the whole country!! I think that the patch near his vent and under his arm look like possible Y.F, the rest could just be a stubborn shed. You can put some antifungal cream like Lamisil on those areas and then have a reptile vet check him out , they'll need to do a skin scrape to verify what it is but it does look possibly like Y.F.

Sorry to hear that he's not well, what types of food do you have available ? Do you raise dubias or order through companies ?

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
