Another little angel left our world today

I've just had that horrible day that we all dread as beardie lovers. My little baby, Wicked sadly had to be put to sleep today. She was diagnosed with having Calcium deficiency some weeks back and was given medicine to take dailly. Unfortunately she became weaker, was not eating and just wanted to sleep all of the time. Her kidneys we're failing and there was just nothing more that the vets could do for her. She was only 3 and I feel cheated, she should have had at least a couple more years with me. I am broken hearted and having to turn off all of her lights when I got home was cruel. I feel like i have just lost a child as she was my baby, and will always be remembered for being the sweetest animal I've ever had x

I am so sorry for your loss.
I lost Dex due to liver failure, the last few weeks together are just so painful. I understand how deeply it hurts to see them decline and eventually have to be brave and make that step to send them off to sleep.
You had three wonderful years together and I am sure she knew how deeply loved she was.

I hope the pain eases over time.
