We've had our little lady for a little over 2 months now and she has been on crickets from day one, veg and a bowl of worms (calcium worms). She's roughly 5 months old at around 13" long nose to tail. We've just ordered some dubias to try her on and see if she likes them due to the smell of the crickets and the amount people on here say they are worth it. Our question really is roughly how many should we be feeding her, she eats anywhere between 30-50 calcium worms a day at the moment with about 20-25 crickets. The worms depends on how hungry she is on any particular day really. We also ordered some butter worms to see what she thinks of those, you know whilst we are trying her on new foods and all.

I've read a few threads where they say they feed their adult dragons around 5 dubias a day but I can't seem to find a thread anywhere that mentions a rough guide to how many to feed a juvie, obviously if shes hungry we will feed her more, but its just more of a whats the fewest she should eat in any given day with her supplement of worms.

I'd feed her all she wants for one meal a day and all she want of the worms the other meal of the day.

We took your advice and she ate 9 in ten minutes last night on her first feeding of them, we only ordered 25 to see what she thought so we've very quickly placed a new order, I put 3 in this morning with some crickets we still have and they were gone in about 20 seconds, its a massive improvement to us, I'm just so surprised at just how much she loves the things already, as weve struggled to get her eating her crickets sometimes and have worried shes not eating enough for a 6 month old, but now I know shes going to be just fine when the new order comes through. Thank you gail for your help.

Just make sure they're the appropriate sized Dubias...However, they do love them and will clean your colony out pretty quick... :(

the ones we ordered were borderline right size, so ive ordered more as weve had to ration them a bit till we get the new order (we only got 25 and wanted to see if she liked them first) at a smaller size which im sure means she'll eat twice as much but I don't want to risk bigger than ones we got coming by mistake. Saying that I don't think they will last that long and that I will have to place orders fairly regularly as you say they love them and will clear you out quickly

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
