i have looked all through the fourms and havent found anything. but i have a 9month old female named kaiser.
she has never been a big eater since i got her at about 3-4 months. she will only eat about 4-6 crickets or superworms and lately it isnt every day, sometimes goes 2days before she will eat again, dust all the crickets/worm, and greens are always offered.
her basking spot is 98-101, 85 hot, and 75cool. the uvb is reptisun 10.0 that is only about a month old.
when i get her out she is fine sometimes and she will run around and then run back into her cage, other times she gets out and as soon as she is out she turns black and starts hissing at any movement made.
and now for the skin issue. i dont have any pics right now but i have already taken her to vet. on her right rear leg she has a spot where her skin looks as if it is just built up shed, the vet said it was dead skin which he pulled off and it started bleeding and tested for any fungal cells, he said it wasnt fungal, and gave us some ointment and oral med which i was told to do for 2 weeks, i did and actually did for 3weeks it started looking better the raw meat that was exposed had healed so i stopped to see if scales would start to return , now it has been another couple weeks since i stop and it is starting to look the same as before. will try to get pics later this week.
sorry for the multipule issues all at once.
thanks for any help

finally have some pics of her leg. first pic is when there is still some med on her

and this is same leg just the underside
leg2.jpg

the third pic looks like yellow fungus from all the other pics i have seen but the vet said there was no signs of fungus before,
so if anyone has any info to help that would be awesome.
i have continued to put ointment that vet gave me which seems to help a little

I have no idea, but once my beardie had an injury that removed part or his scales on his beard, and it looked raw like yours. The vet said it can take a long time to heal, something like a few months. In our case, it was a small part of the skin that was gone and it took four weeks to heal, and the vet was impressed by the speed of recovery.
I hope someone else with ideas will comment on your issues. I would guess that not eating and being angry is related to her skin problems, at least not feeling top shape.

Good luck!

sorry to hear, she is lucky to have someone who cares as much as you do
I would try to keep her eating, and take her out as long as it dont seem to stress her tooo much
Time will heal if she eats and all else is well, if the vet can find noting else wrong it should work its way out
Maybe take her outside for some natural light ???
Good luck and let us all know how she does , as with any infection, be extra sure cage, leg ect stays extra clean as im sure you r

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
