I'm not sure if I'm feeding my beardie the right amount of food. He's about 11" and I was originally basing the amount of food within the 10-15 minute intake and was eating about 6-8 large crickets and veggies or 12-15 medium crickets. I tried Phoenix worms and just switched to hornworms. This morning, he had 6 crickets, 50 Phoenix worms (small), 2 medium size hornworms and veggies. What is considered normal for a beardie that's arond 8 months old and almost 12" from tip of nose to end of tail. Am I not feeding enough, too much-- hoping I did not stunt his growth.

Well at 8 months Ideally he should be bigger, you should still stick to the 10-15 minute rule. You can't go wrong with it if you are giving your dragon as much as it can eat in that time frame.

How long does it take your dragon to eat the amount of food you mentioned?

Within 10 minutes and then he'll stop and I have to removed the remaining live food, leaving the veggie.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
