Am I overfeeding?

Hey guys.
I've been told by my local pet store that i am overfeeding my baby :(
He is 4 1/2 months old and approx 30cm long.
He is eating around 60 1/2 inch crickets every day plus salads (kale, beans, bok choy, celery greens and occasionally capsicum, carrot and grapes)
Is this too much food?

Local pet stores are very dumb and are useless. They probly told you all the wrong thing for his habitat as well. Do not listen to them, come here. He should eat twice a day and offerd as many crickets as he can eat in ten min. My beardie at 4-6 months would eat anywhere from 60-100 1/2in size crix. No your not overfeed, your local pet store is underfeeding. People think that 3-4 crickets every 2 days with vegatables is what young growing beardies need. To make sure you havnt been told other lies by your petstore lets run through your setup.
What size vivarium do you have?
What do you use for UVB?
What do you use for heat?
What are your temps at?

That just made me feel a lot better, my beardie is about 5 months old and he eats like a freak. I know you are supposed to give them as much as they'll eat in 15 minutes but my little guy will eat from 50-60 phoenix worms/crickets 2x a day. Today he just ate 72 phoenix worms at his first feeding, it wasn't quit 15 minutes yet but I cut him off anyway because I just thought that was a really lot haha

Yes i used to get to that point as well. Its like theres no way your fitting all this in there... Be carefull with the pheonix worms, They are very good staples and everything but in my personal expierence ive noticed they take a little longer to digest than a cricket especially in larger quantities. Make sure you give him 3-4 hours of basking time before sleep. 2 Hours wasnt cutting it. Whole worms were comin out. In the end as long as hes getting what he needs, You do not have to fill him up everytime. Letting him eat his fill everyday is kind of like you eating thanksgiving dinner everyday. Just a ton of food. If hes easting 70 worms a day and is eating you out of house and home just set a limit for him at like 40-50. Still going to get what he needs especially if fed twice a day.

Hello I have a six month old leatherback bearded dragon and we live in Leeds in the UK, I have being to numerous shops and supermarkets and can find nowhere dandelion greens, collard greens, mustard greens or any other type of greens. I have looked on http://www.beautifuldragons.com/Nutrition.html for the best things to feed them and the only thing I can seem to find is butternut squash. Can anybody please tell me what else I can feed her?

Also I buy a few tubs of locusts a week and there must be nearly thirty in a tub and I was just wondering how many should I be giving her a day? And also if anybody could please tell me how much calcium I should be giving her it would be really really appreciated

Thank you!

that sounds fine. wish my 4 month old bearded dragon would eat that much. most she eats a day is 1 medium dubia roach and maybe 10 silkworms or a few calci worms. shes become fussy since i fed her waxworms

ok, I get the 2xday 15min cricket feast fest while they are a baby.
My question is - when do they stop being a baby?
Once this time comes how often should I then feed crickets?
Thanks, Mark.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
