am i doing something wrong?

So i have recently been have been having some issues with my crickets dying. they seriously only last for about a day or two and they are all gone. i have always had some of the crickets but now they all die. I am just wondering if it is because of the weather changing or what but its getting really annoying and expensive to keep having to get more. Thanks!

What are you keeping them in, and what are you feeding them? Does it get cold where they are at?

they get potatoes and they are in a medium size critter keeper, i am in arizona so its hot but they are kept in an air conditioned room so i dont get it

How many crickets are you keeping the the cric keeper? I ask because you may need a larger container. I'd recommend just using a rubbermaid container and put a bunch of egg cartons in it. Are you providing them any food other than the potatoes? A good gutload is essential to provide your dragons proper nutrition plus keeps your crix healthy. The other thing you must have is water. You are using potatoes but there are other ways to provide water too, such as water crystals, sponges, or even a bowl filled with paper towels.

Crickets will typically do well at room temperature but too cold or too hot will take a toll on them.

What size crickets are you keeping?

they are large crickets i would say an inch, usually i have anywhere from 50-100 in there and i havent really had a problem before, i only give them potatoes and then apples sometimes too. and they do have egg crate. and it seems that when they die they jerk around and like siezure before they die so i dont know whats wrong
