I am very appreciative of all the helpful comments. Tonight I ordered the ReptiSun 10.0 UVB fluorescent tube. I hope it gets here this week. I will go to WalMart once the light arrives to buy the fixture for it.
I suppose I also need to invest in yet another thermometer. I thought I was doing good with the Fluker's Digital Thermo-hygrometer, but it is also the kind you velcro to the inside wall of the tank. There are no probes with it. Jess had a recommendation on another thread recommending the AccuRite digital thermometer, so I'm going to look for one of those as well

Accurites are supposedly great, but pretty bulky. I use the zoo med ones like this ->http://www.amazon.com/Zoo-Med-Digit...3MFA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1322465645&sr=8-1 and they work great for me. I have like 1000 of them between my snakes and the beardie. A little pricey, but the watch battery lasts forever (I have one going in 3 years) and they can take quite a beating before they stop working. Very accurate as well.

I use the zoo-meds, too! I have 3 of them. Nice and small but easy to read.
