Hey everybody just looking for some input from fellow beardie owners about an alternate feeder until my Dubia Colony is up and running? I find myself digging into it to feed my beardie are butterworms any good I can get alot of them really cheap? Any input will be greatly appreciated. :D

I think butterworms are too high in fat to be used as a staple. What about Phoenix Worms?

FIrst off - what size is your beardie (tip of nose to tip of tail?) Crix are fine as well, at least until your colony gets going.

I do not have much longer until my colony iw established, but had the same dilemma. I actually liked having supers as feeders much better than crix. My beardies have pretty much dusted their hands of crix since having supers, but I am within a month of feedeling from my roaches. The part I do not look forward to is the transition from supers to roaches. I hope it will move smoothly.
With supers, you do need to ensure that your beardie is of the recommended 16"....

Well supers are definitely OUT as your beardie isn't long enough! I'd go with the Phoenix Worms or the Black Soldier fly grubs that Reptilefood is selling here. Phoenix Worms/Grubs are a really REALLY good staple and he/she's got great prices. You don't have to dust them as they are high in calcium already and they squiggle just enough to get beardies attention. AND they don't climb out of bowls (supers are NOTORIOUS for that).

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
