Alright, i'm out of ideas

I know this belongs in enclosures but I need an answer soon. I need a piece of wood for Charlie to bask on. His piece is way too small and the size i need (i'm hoping to get him 6 inches away from his heat/uvb and the tank is about 21" tall) is gonna cost way too much. I live in Virginia Beach, anyone know where i could get some?

haha yes, i'm lucky if the twigs are the width of my finger.

You're gonna pay a lot at a pet store, but that's always an option. Or is there anyone around you that might have something you can use? A tree root would be a good idea, I have one of those in Sabrina's tank and it has several branches to raise her different heights. Until you could find one, you could build a platform out of bricks.

we were in Indiana last weekend and found a few nice flat pieces of driftwood over by the falls of the ohio near the river, the only thing is we now wish we would have picked up more pieces for his outside enclosure. oh well next time.

We just had that noreaster so there are a lot of big branches in the woody areas. I'll check that out, But i read you can't use pine or cedar? How am i supposed to know?!

I live in VA Beach also. We are down in Key West right now and I have come across several nice pieces of drift wood. If I see anymore before we head back next week I will bring you a piece back. you can meet me somewhere close to Oceana and get it.
