i got a central bearded dragon from the local pet store today for free.. it was free for a reason. its two years old and still alot smaller than my 10 month old male and female it is slow, thin, has cancer (big lump on its back above its leg) its about the size of a marble and its half open. i was thinking that i could just get it cut off and solve the problem but then i saw the lizard breathing really heavily then almost like a regurgutating action like it was trying to throug-up i though that the cancer may be throughout the lizards body. it sits with its head down and only lifts it to walk. can someone please help me befor i have to drop a brick on it. need some answers please this fourum is my last hope, help save this lizards life. what do i do!!!!
prefer experienced keeper comments but any is better than none. :|
answers to questions such as these would also be some help:
- does it sound like cancer?
- if the cancer is benine could the regurgutating just be some thing like gastro?
- how do i treat whatever it is?
- will it infect the other lizards?
- should i put something on the open tumer or whatever it is?
- more sunlight and calcium?
- lack of variety in diet?
P.S. its female and i think it was brought up in a primary school encloser with out uv lighting.
i will try put a couple pictures on soon.
