So, we bought supers last time we bought crickets and we love them...they are soooo easy to take care of and tango loves them too actually, he wont even eat crickets...so as long as he gets his salad everyday is it alright to just keep him all supers and no crickets as long as i dust them?>

We just started adding a few supers in as well and both of my Dragons love them too! Yes, they can be used as a staple. I have found that the Dragons need to eat less supers to get full. Keep in mind that they are a little higher in fat so make sure they get out of their viv's for bath and exercise time!

Supers are the staple in my house as well. Just remember that your beardie needs to be 16 inches to saftly eat a large super. I have a smaller dragon that only eats supers, but I give her the small ones or the freshly molted ones and we don't have any problems.

Supers are addictive and do not contribute to your beardies health as much as crickets, they are actually quite fattening.... they should be used as a treat.

After feeding supers for the last month, I have to agree. My dragon has slowed down on his growth but is getting really fat. The base of his tail is loosing weight while his arm pits are getting bubbles of fat hanging down.

I think supers are a great addition to a diet but not as a staple.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
