All of a Sudden Doing Terribly!! Please help!!

Hi! My little girl Raichu has been very active and healthy ever since she was a baby and is now over 1 year old. Yesterday she started acting funky, though. It started out with a black beard that has been there for over 24 hours now, her body seems extra puffy, she keeps closing her eyes, is lethargic, and doesn’t even want to lift her head. Ever since she was 5 months old she would do the weird clicking noises and keep puffing her beard, which she’s doing more now. I gave her a dig box today, but I have a terrible feeling it isn’t because she’s gravid ;( Do you guys think she has an upper respiratory infection? Please help I’m at a loss for words

Hello,

I am sorry about your girl, it sounds like she isn't feeling well at all.
She does look somewhat bloated though. Are you sure that she doesn't have eggs to
lay?
Can you get her to a vet possibly?
The black beard like that, with lethargic behavior indicates distress & pain. She could
also be having kidney or liver issues, too.
Can you review your tank setup with us also, such as the type/brand of UVB, supplementation,
foods given & temperatures?
It is hard to determine whether or not she has a respiratory infection but if she has had some
breathing problems for awhile, it is possible, yes.

For now, try to keep her a little warmer in her tank overnight. Usually around 75-80 is good,
to help boost her system.
Let us know how she is doing.

Thank you so much for replying. She has a 50 gallon tank with a 100 W heat bulb, reptisun 10.0 uvb with the basking side around 100° F with her cool side around 65-70° F. I’m most likely bringing her to the vet tomorrow morning but I don’t know how soon I can get her in with this whole pandemic. She has plenty of hides and carpet. For food she has mainly blue berries and mustard greens along with superworms from time to time. For supplements I give her calcium with vitamin D3. I usually give her water outside of her tank so there’s no humidity but if I’m gone for a while I’ll put water in her little bowl on the opposite side of the tank from the heat lamp. I gave her a dig box today just in case but I still think I’m going to bring her to the vet in case she is gravid and it’s egg binding, I just want to know if there’s anything I can do in case the vet schedule is weird due to the pandemic. Again, thank you so much for the help!

Beardie name(s)
Hiccup he is 6 and Blaze is 4
reptisun 10.0 uvb is this a coil or tube and if a tube is it a T 8 or a T 5 and where in the tank is it ? top of screen or inside the tank ? I would cut out the blueberries -- they are high in sugar and too many can cause health issues -- like diabetes --- I would start feeding her a variety of greens like collard turnip and kale --- fruit only occasional -- are you feeding any staple feeder like crickets or dubias? She needs those 2-3 times per week and I would recommend dubias-- she would need to have blood work done if you get her to the vet make sure you ask for a copy of that blood work so if you want Tracie to look at it she can also give some advice on her condition -- I guess first find out if she is gravid

Hello,

I hope she will be alright!
Continue to keep her well hydrated & offer her foods, as she usually eats, etc.
The Reptisun 10 is the long tube bulb, correct? Be sure it is 6-8 inches from her for
best exposure. Extra calcium for a short bit wont hurt, if you feel she may have eggs.
A lay box is a good idea, it may take her awhile to lay them if she isn't quite ready. She
will need to be a little warm so she can more easily lay if needed.

Let us know how the vet visit goes!

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
