Albon or toltrazuril?

The vet said he didn’t know what my bearded dragons parasites were and that they were unusual. He said coccidia or a nemotode like parasite. He wants to give him albon. But, albon seems like a bad idea to me. Will toltrazuril not work on something else? He’s also getting pancur. I don’t know the count. The vet wouldn’t say.

I don’t think there is a fecal test that can be emailed. He took the poop and looked at it under a microscope. Would there still be a fecal test to be emailed if it was just looked at under a microscope? He said that they were with a nemotode like parasite or coccidia and that he had to zoom in close to see it.

Hello,

I answered on your other post, also.
If the counts on the microscopic exam, are that low, I would be questioning whether or not there
is a need for medication.

If the vet doesn't know what she has or how much it seems that they don't know much about reptiles. I'd skip the meds. in that case.
