Not a newcomer to reptiles, but I've never had lizards. Finally made the decision to get a beardie this winter and I'm really excited! I'm a college student who will be going to veterinarian school when I've got enough pre-vet stuff under my belt (just in my sophomore year now). When not at school I'm working, and when I'm not working I'm taking care of my snakes and sleeping xD I'm interested in a lot of things and have a lot of ecclectic hobbies, but school is definitely my priority after my animals.

Will probably lurk around and ask questions for the most part until I actually pick up a beardie, so sorry in advance for silly questions! At least if I can't find them with a search, haha

Welcome! I was on the site, learning whatever I could, for about five months before I got Fibonacci, so I think it is great that you are here now!

btw, I have a lot of cousins up your way, and there are many I have not met. Some (generations back) were boat and engine builders. Might be a pirate or two in the tree! 8)

Hehehe, this area has it's population of sea people, and we'll take over the world someday 8)

But thanks! I've been researching for quite a while, but I learned with the ball pythons that there's a WEALTH of information when you take the time to read all the stuff people talk about rather than just relying on care sheets. I really can't wait to get involved
