Which UVB Tube Bulbs do you use!?! Brand ..size.. what distance do u keep it from your lizard?? Please give specifics I need to know what works the best Trial and error is getting to be expensive!

So Ive had my beardie with a 8.0 repti glo 36' for his UVB,
it was time to change it so I got a 10.0 repti glo 48' I had the xtra fixture & I used the 48' length for the new bulb. Since Ive changed his light he started getting lethargic and closed his eyes and was hiding from his UVB also he lost his appetite! Iam devastated!!
Ive read that people have had issues with their REPTi GLO in specific causing these issues, I returned the UVB 10.0 repti glo to the store today.
Now that Ive looked into buying a REPTISUN Zoo Med brand Ive seen some people having the same issue with these.
AHHH!! Im so frustrated!!
I think that perhaps I should try a 5.0 ReptiSun Zoo Med for the 48' fixture I have, would this be enough UVB for my beardie?? Im scared that maybe the 10.0 in 48' size is too much and too bright for him and that a 5.0 > 48' would be better..
I also have a 36' light fixture for my female and I need to kno what to use for her as well should I go 10.0 UVb..for her 36' fixture??
Please give any advice you can or give some tips... suggestions... comments anything!!! I need answers Ive researched and now Iam lost in all my facts.... [/size]
