When could I expect my 3 mo old beardie to exhibit any aggression if being kept as the only dragon?? Would it depend on the sex of the dragon or do they do this behavior only when stressed or freaked out?? Has anyone ever been bit and is it minor or is it a bad bite??

I have only heard of one aggressive beardie and he was roughly handled from day one, feed poorly so was always hungry and had gone through several homes in 2 years. I think with a stable home, good food, and regular gentle handling they won't be aggressive.

Beardies are solitary animals they do not get along with other dragons in their cage and are very territorial. Doesnt depend on the sex either I have 2 females 1 male all in separate vivs and when 1 is out and goes to flirt with the others that are in their vivs they defend their vivs through the glass. Puffed out beards glass dancing had bobs. Thats just the male. Females they puff out and instead of waving they can get mad.

Putting 2 dragons together to live causes stress one becomes dominate causes the other one not to eat not a pleasant site.
Yepp I was bitten by my 3mon old she was 2 mons and I put my finger to close the big isnt hard as a baby like a pinch but can hurt. When they are old can be alot more but if you handle your beardies everyday and they get to know you they dont bite. My male I can play with his beard scratch his ears everything he never bits same with my adult female. The baby she hisses but I pick her up everyday hold her and talk to her she gets to know me and does bit anymore.

Hope thats answers your question

BD's are simply not known to be aggressive unless stressed or abused. A well-kept dragon wouldn't hurt a fly. Well, actually, it would hurt a fly. But not a human.

my little girl has bit me one time and it didn't hurt but it was also my fault cause I was trying to get her out and she was running so I tried to chase her down in her viv. I had her cornered and she bit my finger and then jumped over my hand to get away. After I caught her and got her out she calmed down and had some play time and then snuggle time. I do notice she has a temper during a shed but now that she is done she lets me get her out pretty easily.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
