This is going to sound like such a newbie question, but just how old can a captive bearded dragon live on average?

I have read 5-7, 5-10, 10-12, etc. Which is the correct answer? I don't trust to ask anywhere but here. Shenron is about 7-8, so he's getting on up there.

*feels totally stupid*

Thank you. <3

P.S. Shenron is now out of brumation, and while is back to being his lazy self, is back to eating like a pig, and (from what my dad says, since I am back at college) is pooping on time (though I am constantly remininding him to bathe him at least once a week). I think that UVB light is doing him some good. :D

I'm not sure of the record...an I could be wrong about this...if so someone will correct me :) , but I
think the average life span of a captive breed beardie that has been housed in proper conditions in
the United States is 10-12 years.
My first beardie Rocky lived to be close to 11 years old. (R.I.P. Rockstar!)

EDIT:
No need to feel stup!d there is so much contradicting informations it makes it hard to
know what to believe.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
