Age

Hi guys.

Me and my girlfriend has just purchased our first bearded dragon. Now, the little one is between 4 - 6 inches in size (haven't actually measured properly) and I was wondering how old roughly the little one is. The guy in the shop said around 6months but after looking at 6 month old beardies they are a lot bigger than mine little one.

All help will be great so I can get the feeding right for the light man/girl.

Ok. I just measured him in and he is 5 inches exactly.

Bit older or around the same age??

Yep, I'd say 5 weeks.

It can be hard to tell from just size. If it's been fed properly, it's probably around four to six weeks old. If not, it could be older. Pretty doubtful it's six months unless they've been seriously starving it. Probably just misspoke.
