Age that a beardie uses third eyelid

I remember when cleaning Dio’s eyelashes/main eyelid (because of infection) that she had a third eyelid. I have yet to see Kazoku use his third eyelid. At the time of writing this he is 8 months old. When did you guys notice the use of their third eyelid or rather how old was the beardie at the time?

Hello,

Are you referring to the nicitating membrane? Usually if you are lucky should be able to see
it when they are shedding their face/eye area.
I don't know an exact age in which they begin to use the membrane. I think that it develops
as they grow but I'm sure it is used when they are young, too.

Yes, I was referring to the nicitating membrane. I was worried if Kazoku hasn’t learned to use his yet. Thank you for the help.
