After I turned off the lights for my beardie to go to bed, he stayed on the log, I recorded a video because it's the third day I've had him and I wanted to have memories. However, when I was recording, he went on his log, shook his head vigorously, and threw himself off. This scares me so much, everything is correct in his tank, the temperatures and humidity (around 37-38%). This is the first time he's ever done this and any help would be appreciated! I have it on video but here's no way to upload on here.

Perhaps someone knows what this is by hearing about it, but I would suggesting finding a place to upload it (youtube perhaps) and posting the link. It would be helpfull to see it.

I think this him showing he's not happy about the ultrasounds being giving off by the electronics in the camera.

My guys can be sound asleep and if I try to be very stealthy and sneak up with the camera to try to a photo they wake up immediately and look straight at the camera, I think they are hearing the rangefinder (which I think in this camera is ultrasonic).

That's really bizarre, he jumped completely backwards off of the log, then twisted around and glass surfed....But the way he flew off the log after having that little fit looked like someone actually yanked him off or had him attached to a string and they pulled it...I have no idea, but if he continues to shake his head like that, a reptile vet is a must.

I know it still scares me even the day after. He started to scratch at his reflection so I'm thinking maybe that could've been part of the cause for that. I bought a background today and I'm going to install that. Btw do I install it on the inside of the tank or outside? Like would it being on the outside prevent him from seeing his reflection?

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
