Hey, so i had my beardie for about 3 weeks now. Normally shes been shy from the beginning, but got used to me in time. Since yesterday for no apparent reason, when she is basking and i enter the room she will run into her hide.

Is it possible she is afraid of me, and if so, how can i get her trust back?

Might be moody because she coming to a shed.

Give her the space she wants , but let her know you are the boss. So stay where she can see and hear you as much as possible and frequently talk calmly to her.

Off her food treats by hand (I find this works a treat even with wild lizards).

Just be patient - she'll come around eventually.

Also, when feeding she has absolutley no problem eating crickets from my hand

Sure indication she's either super hungry , or / and she trusts you enough to hand feed from you.

Happy to say she doesnt freak out anymore. I gave her space and she came around. She wont start jumping of joy when she sees me, but thats understandable since i have her for 3 months.
Also i doubt shes hungry, since she gets crickets and veggies daily and in plenty of ammount

I have the same problem with mine. Sometimes he runs and hides sometimes not. He will climb onto my hand like he wants to be picked up, then run off, like " nope, just kidding, don't want you to hold me." When I do get him out, he wants to explore everything, and he is wicked fast. I am afraid to let him off my lap because he is so small, I know he will get lost. He will eat from my hand too. At times he seems to be afraid, and other times not. He always seems restless and very curious. I just hope I am not doing something wrong.

I used to have the same problem when i had jut got my dragon. A reason your dragon may be so skittish is because it has to poop. It still happens to my dragon. To build trust hand feed and handle your dragon more. That helps build a lot of trust. Don't make fast movements or yell around them. Hope this helps!

I will say this, Denathor is not afraid to poop on me, he dose this often, lol. I haven't been trying to hold him too much, was afraid of over-stimulating him. I only get him out every few days. I will handle him more and see if that helps. Thanks.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
