So, yeasterday Cori and I were on our weekly run to the pet store for crickets. Cori tagged along as always hanging on to my chest checking out the scene... and probably sleeping a lot... Then, a woman and her husband came up to me and she pointed to him (I have grown so accustomed to people pointing at my chest you would think I was Britney Spears). She then tells me she has two at home. Her husband goes "They are going to get that big?" Well, that's when the red light went off in my head to not just walk away. The proceeded to tell me how they had aquired the dragons because both of their sons had passed away. I felt bad at this point but was still interested in the dragons and hearing how they were being kept. Apparently they had been keeping both dragons in a 20 gallon tank together. As they were babies I told them that for a VERY temporary fix this would be okay. But to get a new tank ASAP. They then moved on to telling me about the beardies' diet (At this point I had a small group of people around me listening to me ramble on about Beardies.) So after about an hour of lecturing, (signing autographs, taking pictures and kissing babies) I had them ready to care for their beardies.
Moral of the story? Cori saves the day. :love5:
