Adult Beardie Stalking Own Reflection

This is my first post here :) I tried searching to see if this exact question was already posted but I couldn't find it.

My beardie, Eli, is adopted and I don't know much of anything about his past. His vet estimated him to be 3 - 4 years old and in good shape health-wise. This is my first bearded dragon, previously I had an older, sickly turtle, so I know some of my issues stem from being a newbie and also from being over-dramatic after having a sick pet!

Eli is borderline obsessed with his own reflection. The way the lights are set up the reflection is quite clear to him. He presses his nose against his reflection and stalks back and forth staring it down. Even on his log he seems to be constantly staring at his reflection. His behavior isn't aggressive towards his reflection BUT I'm worried he is stressed out about the idea of another beardie. Is there some sort of adhesive film that would dull the reflection but still allow Eli to look through the glass? (I don't want him to not be able to look out)

For the record, he is in the tank that he was abandoned in with his original logs. The only new features are his water bowl, food bowl, and his new UVB light. I also added a small screen separating him from his lights because he started pushing his nose towards the lights and I was worried he would burn himself. (I've read about screen blocking UVB rays but I think I'm good because of the proximity) There is a nice sunset scene on the back wall of his tank that obscures most of the glass on that side. I don't know if his reflection was blocked in some other way in his old home or if he's just always behaved this way about his own reflection

TL;DR is there a way to obscure my beardie's reflection without making his glass tank completely opaque?

Thanks :D

Also, he has a hidey-log - a half log that he can hide in but he doesn't seem too interested in it.

Usually people will cover three sides of the tank with paper and then keep the front part open which helps cut down on reflection. They tend to grow out of it after they settle in to a new home after a while though and if he isn't acting aggressively or risking injury it's not a big concern. You can cover the sides with anything from newspaper to photos. Whatever you like the look of best.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
