LMAO yea Fluffy works LOL ill be real carefull i dont want to end up like the movie saw LOL this morning when i put the food in i think he was still a bit chilly from the night (temps at 75-78) so was slow, hes not slow now, went to see if i could give him a dubia and he charged me open mouthed hissing and that weird flat sideways thing they do. dropped the roach yanked hand out fast LOL he loved the dubia though. hes freaky when hes warm and active, this is soooo gonna be a long road. he is very alert though watches everything.

well he didnt charge me when i put food in so i thought id try to pet him, went well then i slid my hand under him and the poor thing was vibrating kinda like he was shivering hes terrified not aggressive i feel so bad for him didnt let me hold him long before he started hissing at me so i put him down (all in his viv) now im just really sad no animal should have that much fear. Now i know the issue so it will be easier for me to show him i mean no harm. i really feel so bad for him.This is the first time ive ever held a reptile that shakes not that it was a badly but still... Poor Fluffy

shaking could also mean MBD. did he have the proper UVB light before you got him?

even if that's the case, he IS scared of you. he could hide, but if he charges maybe you'll stay away. that's his best defense.

I didnt even think about MBD his uvb was outside the tank and old when i got him i replaced it with a new one and put it in the viv, ill give him some liquid calcium too.

he hasnt charged me most of the day i even got to open his viv without anything more than a hiss LOL got some pics, and he took the liquid calcium well, im not real sure if hes really a he or if hes a she when i can hold him ill check *not holding breath* had to ake the paper down he was not very happy with it being there seems better without it.

And I am happy to report I still have all my fingers How did you give the liquid calcium? I have been putting the powder over the salad because I don't trust him enough to do the liquid with a syringe like I use to with Irwin. I would love to think Palmer would take calcium from a syringe.

VERY VERY carefully, hes slow when its early and i got lucky i dripped it on his nose when he hissed at me.. I have a medicine dropper from my local pharmacy that has an extra long tube that goes on it so i didnt really have to get to close LOL well i was looking for a dragon with spunk guess i should be careful what ask for lol defanatlt gots some spunk with this one. Rose is like jabba the hut kinda fat and really lazy and laid back Fluffy Monster is her opposite LOL
