Adopted 2 Beardies!

I acquired 2 BD a few days ago. They are about 7 months old. One is male, the other is female. They have been in the same cage and it was insisted that I take the 120 gallon cage with them. I took it along with them reluctantly. It is wood and all their urine and poop absorbed into the wood on the floor and it smells really bad. So I put them in the cage I had for my other BD that's a 40 gal. I know it's small for 2 but I would rather have them in a smaller clean cage than a big filthy one. I have a 90+ gallon on it's way now. It will be here in a week. My problem is... He wants to hanky panky!!! He has been bobbing his head so hard that I am getting whip-lash. I can separate them one I have the bigger tank, but until then... I have to go to work and leave them unsupervised. Once that big cage comes in, I won't be so worried. It will be beautiful. I haven't come up with names yet, I will keep you posted. Feel free to comment. Any help will be appreciated. I have never delt with females before, let alone 2 BD in the same habitat.

Ok. So when I am home they have to be completely separated. He's a nutcase! He keeps bobbing his little head, but today he went after her. He bit her and wouldn't let go! I saw the whole thing happen. So I removed her from the cage and she is sitting in my lap as I write this. Now he is by himself. He can't see her, so I think he is bobbing his head at his reflection in the glass. It will be so nice once I can get them in their own cages. Less than a week!

Can you put down some shelf liner or something in the other cage as a temporary measure? I'm afraid if you leave them together for a week you'll end up with babies.
