I currently have a glass vivarium for Lucky. I was thinking about building a cage or buying one of the custom cages, but building will take a while and custom is expensive. In the meantime, even though I have put fabric/glass covering on the outside of the glass viv I am currently using, he can still see his reflection and I think is sometimes getting spooked by reflections and glare coming off the glass.
I was thinking that I could put vinyl or pvc shelf liner or wallpaper on the INSIDE of the tank, so that there would no longer be any glare/reflections off of the glass. There are a lot of options out there. My QUESTION is - has anyone tried this, do we know whether it is safe (e.g., fumes from the plastic or heat issues)?
